 SMALL, SUSTAINABLE, AND SUPER AMBITIOUS.

To put it bluntly, our barns and egg processing facilities are highly uncommon, especially for the size. Our commitment to putting our ladies first is matched by our efforts do right by the environment. The result is a surprisingly small carbon footprint and a workplace that is second-to-none for our team.

LED LIGHTING

One LED light bulb can save materials and production of 25 incandescent light bulbs.

  • 100% recyclable

  • Zero toxic materials

  • Reduces carbon footprint by up to 1/3

  • Extended operational life time span

  • Improved energy efficiency

WATER RECYCLING

  • Irrigation aids in agricultural crop growth, maintains landscapes, and revegetates disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of inadequate rainfall.

  • UV sterilization to return egg wash water back into drinking water for the hens.

SOLAR ENERGY

  • Photovoltaics produce clean, renewable and sustainable energy

  • Create zero waste or Greenhouse Gas emissions

  • Reduce the demand for fossil fuels

  • Reduce Carbon Footprint

MANURE MANAGEMENT

  • Recycle organic manure to local, organic crop farmers

  • Reduce pests, flies and odor

  • 100% organic manure - high in nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus; all of which are valuable nutrients to naturally enrich organic crops

  • Better overall air quality due to modern tunnel ventilation in the bird houses and use of air blowers to yield drier manure

DRY HYDRANT

  • Eliminates inefficiency and complexity of long-distance water shuttle operations

  • Reduces fuel and equipment costs for fire departments

  • Preserves the communities treated water supplies

RECYCLING PROGRAM

Protects the environment and its natural resources. Reduces:

  • Energy Consumption

  • Air and water pollution

  • Greenhouse Gas emissions

  • Amount of waste to landfills

HEAT EXCHANGER

Recaptures wasted heat and recycles it for heating the egg wash water.
